$100 Million QZAB Matching Grant

NEF is working to leverage the $3.2 billion dollars available to QZAB-eligible school districts -those with 35% of students on free or reduced lunch. School districts can borrow money at zero interest to support their critical needs including renovation, equipment, energy efficiency, green energy as well as curriculum and professional development. NEF has set aside $100 million to cover the 10% match contribution required by law, and helps to build a world class K-12 QZAB CyberLearning STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Academy that prepares students for college and the 21st Century workforce,” as required by the QZAB law.
